A couple of weeks ago, Jeremy and Trip sat down and did an incredibly riveting session over the release of Red Dead Redemption and the technology of immersive, infinite choice/pathway gaming and probably some other stuff that would totally knock your socks right off.

Then Jeremy took a week’s vacation. When he returned, he had no idea what he did with the source files for the episode. Â It was as if they vanished from the face of the Earth.

We were incredibly lucky to have Piper from Lazy Eye Theatre drop in and talk Oscars 2010 with us. Of course, we got a little off subject, but had some great film conversation come out of it.

Make no mistake about it though, this was definitely Trip and Piper’s episode. That’s what Jeremy gets for not watching any of the movies up for Oscars this year.

Trip continues to have computer problems. Jeremy tries to capitalize on this fact in order to gain listenership at the expense of Trip’s bitter tears. Hilarity ensues.

In this episode: Listening to Pandora instead of an MP3 collection, Trip runs down the contents of his lost 1TB hard drive, Jeremy suggests “Terabytes For Trip,” a telethon designed to raise funds to revive Trip’s data (or the inner city youth center), Baby Jacket Dance, phone comments that aren’t really comments at all, show suggestions from the Facebook fan page, a promotion for the day that we get 100 iTunes subscribers.

Seriously though, if anyone knows how to rescue hard drive data and wants to do something decent, give us a call or send us a message. Trip would appreciate it.

Ever the opportunists, Jeremy and Trip decide to hop on the iPad hype bandwagon and do a special episode that deals solely with last week’s iPad announcement. Even with Jeremy taking his normal role as an Apple diehard and Trip holding his ground as a PC (even though he said that PCs are like old people), a few surprising things are discovered about everyone involved.

In this episode: Jeremy and Trip talk about the iPad, Trip’s PC pukes up the BSOD mid-sentence, two grown men get way too excited about a product that hasn’t even hit the shelves.
