Untitled Episode 10

What better way to punctuate an episode dealing with society’s reliance on technology than with a barrage of computer crashes that are a residual result of Trip’s computer problems that he had in Untitled Episode 5?

None. None better way, really.

In this episode: A discussion about technology brought on by an article the guys read about Nicholas Carr‘s new book, multiple computer crashes, Trip incessantly types trying to Google ways to keep his computer from crashing again, Jeremy gets all Merlin Mann–ish about the subject at hand, tools vs. novelties, Trip$ha.

Untitled Episode 9

A couple of weeks ago, Jeremy and Trip sat down and did an incredibly riveting session over the release of Red Dead Redemption and the technology of immersive, infinite choice/pathway gaming and probably some other stuff that would totally knock your socks right off.

Then Jeremy took a week’s vacation. When he returned, he had no idea what he did with the source files for the episode.  It was as if they vanished from the face of the Earth.

Instead, please enjoy Trip singing a karaoke rendition of Edwyn Collins’ A Girl Like You.

Untitled Episode 8

Slightly glitchy audio creeps in as we’re visited by the YET TO BE NAMED PODCAST legal advisor, Robin. Audio problems or not, this is one of the better ones so far, folks.

In this episode: The iPhone 4G/Gizmodo drama and the pseudo-legal analysis that surrounds it, coffee enemas, colon cleansing, Travis The Homewreckin’ Alcoholic, bad driving douchebags in Orgeon, mosquitos.

Here’s a homework assignment for you. We want to hear some of the stupidest things you’ve heard recently. Give us a call at (816) 200‑7219 and leave a message with your story!

Untitled Episode 7

Sometimes you’ve gotta throw away a few rotten apples before you can make a pie, and podcasts are kinda like that. You’ve got to know your limitations. You’ve got to feel out your audience. And, every once in a while you just have got to Vaseline up a melon hole before you can fuck it.

In This Episode: Why YouTube sucks and the secret whereabouts of Google’s headquarters, iPad sightings after the big “buy me” weekend, Cory Doctorow and his insistence on tinkering, cow-induced RAM destruction, naturally satisfied innovation, Neanderthal vocal chords.

Episode 6 Outtake

Once again, we’re back with outtakes from previous episodes.

In This Outtake: Jeremy, Trip and Piper discuss unnecessary asides in Avatar.

Untitled Episode 6

We were incredibly lucky to have Piper from Lazy Eye Theatre drop in and talk Oscars 2010 with us. Of course, we got a little off subject, but had some great film conversation come out of it.

Make no mistake about it though, this was definitely Trip and Piper’s episode. That’s what Jeremy gets for not watching any of the movies up for Oscars this year.

In This Episode: Piper drops in, Oscar 2010 talk, predictions and/or fantasies, Blu-Ray movies, Where The Wild Things Are, how The Wizard Of Speed And Time rules ass, Katherine Bigelow, soul-sucking to complete screenplays.

Episode 5 Outtake

On the off chance that you ever cared about what Jeremy and Trip talk about when the mics are “off,” we will bring you outtakes from previous episodes from time to time.

In this outtake: Jeremy and Trip talk about take-out Chinese food.

Untitled Episode 5

Trip continues to have computer problems. Jeremy tries to capitalize on this fact in order to gain listenership at the expense of Trip’s bitter tears. Hilarity ensues.

In this episode: Listening to Pandora instead of an MP3 collection, Trip runs down the contents of his lost 1TB hard drive, Jeremy suggests “Terabytes For Trip,” a telethon designed to raise funds to revive Trip’s data (or the inner city youth center), Baby Jacket Dance, phone comments that aren’t really comments at all, show suggestions from the Facebook fan page, a promotion for the day that we get 100 iTunes subscribers.

Seriously though, if anyone knows how to rescue hard drive data and wants to do something decent, give us a call or send us a message. Trip would appreciate it.

Untitled Episode 4

Ever the opportunists, Jeremy and Trip decide to hop on the iPad hype bandwagon and do a special episode that deals solely with last week’s iPad announcement. Even with Jeremy taking his normal role as an Apple diehard and Trip holding his ground as a PC (even though he said that PCs are like old people), a few surprising things are discovered about everyone involved.

In this episode: Jeremy and Trip talk about the iPad, Trip’s PC pukes up the BSOD mid-sentence, two grown men get way too excited about a product that hasn’t even hit the shelves.

Untitled Episode 3

There’s really no reason that Jeremy and Trip can think of for you to take a trip to the Denver International Airport. That place just seems like it’s pure evil.

In this episode: Trip’s cameo on TNT’s Leverage, pimping the show for maximum social media impact, Tay Zonday’s crazy recluse tendencies, social media purging, the Pacific Northwest Tree Octopus, welcome to Denver, CO: HOME OF THE APOCALYPSE, being “that guy” at the guitar store, Calls From Unknown People #1.
